An authenticator is a means used to confirm a user’s identity, that is, to perform digital authentication. A person authenticates to a computer system or application by demonstrating that he or she has possession and control of an authenticator.In the simplest case, the authenticator is a common password.

How to use

Step 1

Codes are provided directly by services (e.g., Google, Amazon, Facebook) and can be found in the security section of your account. Scan the code and add it to the application.

Step 3

After scanning the QR code, you will get a ‘one-time password’.

Step 4

Finally, you can use this password in the relevant field when logging into the service provider’s website or app.
